Essay and "My favourite building"

Chelyabinsk is an industrial city, but it doesn't`t mean that you can`t take an inspiration or have a rest in this place.

I personally think that there are some good views. Although high level of industrial development, you can enjoy nature. I`d advice you to go to Gagarina park. Especially in summer, when the weather is warm and sunny, it`s good to walk  near to coniferous forest. When it`s winter, the forest is clean and bright like in fairytale. And of course it`s good idea to visit the Zoo, which is near to the park.

All best buildings situated in the Central aria of the city. I mean two bridges, Kirova street (with metal statues and quit old little buildings) and some other design creatures. If you want to have fun, I think you should visit bowling,  cinema or one of shopping centers (Focus, Kuba, Gorki). And if you like history, you mustn`t miss the Local museum, which is not only have interesting things inside, but looks like mountain made by green glass and yellow stones.

I know some statistics, that shows us, that Chelyabinsk is one of the most... unattractive city in Russia. I have visited enough countries, and after I still like my city. Maybe it means, that other cities in Russia are really beautiful?

To sum up, there are enough exciting places in Chelyabinsk to not get bored.

 

"My favorite building"

My favorite building is the Dancing house in Czech Republic, Prague. It was build in 1996 because of an order by the President of Czech. Appearance of the building with such  non-traditional design meant breaking with the totalitarian past. It`s normal to be rectangular to houses - but not to Dancing house. Because of an interesting shapes building looks like in motion, dancing. The Dancing house consist of two towers: the left part impersonates a women, Ginger Rogers; the right part impersonates a man,  Fred Astaire. They are professional dancers as I know, and the second name of  the building is  "Fred and Ginger"

1. Two places i like

The first place i want to describe is a shopping centre Focus. It situated not far away from my home, on Komsomol pr. It`s comfortably big, consist from four floors. If i tired, i usually can find free bench, it means that it can hold about 20.000 people with all conveniences. People go to Focus to buy some clothes, food and take a rest of cause with friends. As i remember, Focus was nice place to visit a week before New Year: on the first floor were a fir-tree with big white rain-deers made from garlands. Now, if i not mistaken, Focus is colorful place with flowers, because of the spring and summer season.

The second place i like is book shop Biblio-Globus in Focus. It on the forth floor, looks like one huge room with more than million books. People go to this shop to buy some books, stationery or relax. Atmosphere is calm, quiet - what Winnie the Pooh called "place for thinking".




2. My favourite room

In our flat there is one room - we call it Library - with one store with books. For me, it`s my favourite room. It can hold about 6-7 people, but it`s only my place. I do my homework there, play games, watch filmes and... sleep too. Don`t know why i left my own room, but i here i easly can be relaxed and concentrated. Every evening sunset rays fall into the window, and every morning wake me up, because they reflected from the opposite windows

To tell the truth, my health was much better less than one year ago. Now may be my lifestyle influences on my organism very effective. 
At first i feel quite a lot of stress, because my mum and teachers ask me to work, work. and work. From 13th of April to 27th - it will be one exam every day. That`s why i often lay in bed after 23:00 o`clock, and then - fall asleep in tram on the road to home, over-tired.
What`s more, i have watched a film "Earthlings", and understand now, how is it cruel and unfair to animals - to eat them. It was huge transformation in my perception, because before i love meat very much! But then i heard, that people with I-st group of blood can`t live without meat (this is my group). And may be because of that, 8 mounth later, my energy fell down and i began to look absolutely unhealthy. 
May be i should wait before i grow up, and only then continue my experiments. And better way:  move into warmer places, riched with fruits, vegetables and nuts.

I.  What is your opinion of the volunteer doctors on the Lifeline Express? How do they change people`s lives?

I admire such people, because they left comfortable life in cities, their houses, to help rural poor indians. I don`t think that they earn really much money, and they don`t have really good chance to get new qualification, find a future wife in train... And may be it`s quite difficult to be always in one group of people for a long time. And food doesn`t be really variable (forget about tasty cookies from wife).
They can change life people not only in health way ( 500 000 people were treated by doctors), but in a moral way too. It`s really inspiring thing: train with painted rainbow came to treat your close people, just because we should help each other!

2) I agree that people should be able to choose their own lifestyle, because people should understand that it`s only their responsibility for  their health. But of course forces of mass media should give enough information about topic "How to be healthy" and government - provide cities with gyms, pools and football fields.

3) I dont`t thing that advertising of junk food is a bad thing. It`s just a buisness. But problem is deeper: may be it would be better to not give so much advertising at TV at all?

4) Taxing food it`s great idea, when, for exapmle, someone doesn`t like to stand in queue

6) Fortunately people should live in a healthy way, because only health people can be happy.

       I think that i`m someone between future-foxused and present-focused person. 

        On the one hand i have read some books and heard some ideas from buddism, and believe, that we can be easily happy, when we are NOW. When people live in present, they simply can`t be worried about their future, they are not frightened and doesn`t think. Thinking - is a problem, suppose people from the East. Because you - aren`t your brain, you`re something else. When you hear voice in your head (sometimes speaking really strange things), be sure that you are not here, don`t feel all beauty of the moment. Children, for example, don`t think often when they do interesting things. That`s why our childhood so colorful. 
        I agree with the Dr Akerman about balance. Of course we should use our brain, when we really need. We can use it to make our days more effective (to understand how many things we can and should do). And it`s important to make some plans, if you want to get good place in future life. When you know what you want, it`s an impressive force in your activity. 

Advertising

1) On my opinion advertising is really important in our society because without advertising buisness wouldn`t develop.  And when we see ads, we find out information about new technologies and innovations. It`s an information source.

2) I think, that it`s impossible to get away from advertising. Because adverts is everywhere.

3) Yes, advertising really affects people, because we want to do their lifes more comfortable. For example, when they see add about new little and silent vacuume cleaner, they want to buy it. And one more situation with mobile phones, which produced every month with  new fashion desine. People will by it to to satisfy requirements connected with prestige.

4) Yes, of course i woyld spend money on advertising because people just wouln`t know about my products. They would buy things by other companies. But to tell the truth i would be advertizing agent, because i feel ability to create ideas. Not company owner.

5) I like billboards, because i have a choice to look or not. They doesn`t make a noise. And all of them have  main information.

6) I can`t stand TV commercials. Earlier i didn`t notice how persistent tryings of companies to sell their products to us. That`s why i don`t` whatch TV now - i see consumer society. My friend  calls the TV "the zombie-box".

7) I try to buy not many things. I have some money and don`t spend it, because i have all that want. So, if i need something not really expensive/important, i buy the first founded product.

8) I read product revies if i buy something important - musical instrument, book, electronic goods.

9) I check out prices and compare products on the Net sometimes. For example when i need just to know how much that thing cost in our word. As a young person, i just get used to prices. But my mum uses internet to by things from other places far away from Chelyabinsk. 

My Three Bestsellers

 "Liss Ulysses" by Fred Adra
